How do I create an account?

Click Create account and fill in your email, password, country and school year. You'll be signed in automatically and taken to your dashboard.

Do I need to verify my email?

We send a verification link to your inbox. You can use the app straight away, but verifying keeps your account secure and lets us send you important updates.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Go to Forgot password, enter your email and we'll send a reset link.

Can I change my country or school year later?

Yes — go to Account → Settings and update them. This affects how solutions are explained.

How do I solve a maths problem?

From your dashboard, type your question in the box or take a photo of your problem. Click Solve and the AI will give you a step-by-step solution tailored to your country and school year.

Can I upload a photo of my textbook?

Yes — click the camera icon to upload or take a photo. Make sure the problem is clearly visible and well-lit. The AI will extract and solve the question.

What subjects does Cliste School cover?

Currently Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are supported. Switch subjects using the selector on the dashboard.

The AI answer looks wrong. What should I do?

AI answers are not always correct. Always double-check with your teacher or textbook. You can report a bad answer using the flag icon on the solution. Do not rely on Cliste School in exams or assessments.

Can I see my past problems?

Yes — your full history is in Dashboard → History. You can favourite, share, or re-visit any solution.

How do flashcards work?

Cliste School uses spaced repetition (SM-2 algorithm). After you solve a problem you can save it as a flashcard. The app schedules reviews so you see cards just before you're likely to forget them.

How do I review my flashcards?

Go to Flashcards. Cards due today appear first. Rate each card (Again / Hard / Good / Easy) and the algorithm adjusts future spacing.

How do I do a timed exam?

Go to Exam, pick a topic and duration, and click Start. Answer each question and submit when done. You'll get a scored breakdown.

Where are past papers?

Go to Past Papers. Select your country, subject and year. Each question has an AI-generated model answer you can reveal after attempting it.

I'm a parent. How do I add my child?

Create your own account, then go to Family and click Add child. You can monitor their progress and streak from there.

What are Groups?

Groups let students and teachers study together. Create or join a group in Groups. Members can see each other's solved problems and share solutions.

How is my progress tracked?

Go to Progress to see a breakdown by topic, your streak, and your activity over time. Keep your streak by solving at least one problem each day.

What is the Mistakes log?

When you attempt a problem and get it wrong, it's logged in Mistakes automatically. Review it regularly to focus on your weak areas.

Does Cliste School have accessibility settings?

Yes. Go to Account → Preferences. You can reduce motion, turn on calm mode, hide the streak counter and social comparisons, use plain-literal explanations, show the reason for every step, switch on focus mode, keep your progress private, and set a daily routine. Changes apply instantly and save to your account.

How do I turn on focus mode?

Enable Focus mode in Preferences, or tap the floating Focus button on the dashboard. It hides the navigation, footer and side panels so only the problem and its steps remain. Tap it again to exit.

Can I get explanations in plain, literal language?

Yes — turn on “Plain, literal language” in Preferences. The tutor then avoids idioms, metaphors and vague praise and gives direct, concrete feedback.

What is the daily routine?

In Preferences you can write a fixed daily plan (one item per line). It shows as a checklist on your dashboard, the same every day, and resets at midnight. Completing it is satisfying; not completing it is fine.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Account → Danger Zone → Delete account. This permanently removes your data within 30 days. Billing records required by law are kept for 7 years.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Account → Manage subscription. You can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
